Gil Even-Tsur, Architecture Workshop.

Originally commissioned to work only on the interiors of 200 Water, architect Gil Even-Tsur’s remit grew to embrace the entirety of the project. With his own practice, Gil Even-Tsur’s Architecture Workshop, headquartered in DUMBO, his engagement with 200 Water was based on first-hand knowledge of the neighborhood’s history and evolution.

Prior to establishing the Workshop, Even-Tsur spent nine years at Pritzker prize-winner Richard Meier’s practice where he led numerous projects, including his design for the AIA prize-winning condominium 165 Charles Street located in Greenwich Village, and the luxury residential tower Meier on Rothschild in Tel Aviv, Israel. Even-Tsur is currently an adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Design and acts as a visiting critic at City College School of Architecture, Pratt Institute, and the Cooper Union.
